Gel-permeation high-performance liquid chromatography as a powerful technique for rapid analysis of calcitriol (1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol) receptors.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We used gel-permeation high-performance liquid chromatography to detect cytosolic and nuclear calcitriol (1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol) receptors. This new convenient technique allowed accurate separation of the calcitriol receptor from other vitamin D-binding proteins. Compared with sucrose-density-gradient centrifugation, it has several advantages including, in particular, its rapidity.
