Project description:In the title compound, C(19)H(20)N(2)O(6), the pyrone and pyran rings adopt envelope conformations with the same common C atom as the flap, the dihedral angle between the planes of the remaining ring atoms being 68.27 (4)°. The planar atoms of the pyran ring and the diaza-cyclic ring are almost coplanar, the dihedral angle between their mean planes being 3.29 (7)°. Moreover, the planar atoms of the pyrone ring and benzene ring of the coumarin unit are also close to coplanar, the dihedral angle between their mean planes being 8.03 (9)°. The meth-oxy group lies in the plane of the benzene ring, with a dihedral angle between their mean planes of 9.4 (2)°. In the crystal, the molecules are linked by C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds resulting in sheets of mol-ecules in the ac plane.

Project description:The title compound, {[BaPt(CN)(4)(C(12)H(26)N(2)O(4))]·0.5H(2)O}(n), is a two-dimensional coordination polymer in which the sheets are oriented approximately parallel to the (01) set of crystal planes. In the crystal structure, disordered water mol-ecules (half occupancy) connect the sheets into a three-dimensional network via inter-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. An N-H⋯N inter-action is also present. The shortest Pt⋯Pt contacts are 7.5969 (4) Å by an inversion relationship and 7.6781 (4) Å by translation along the a axis.

Project description:The two oxazolidine rings (A and B) of the title compound, C34H44N2O4, display roughly half-chair conformations, which could be described as twisted on the C-O bond. Together, the fused oxazolidine rings have a butterfly shape, with the H atoms attached to the ring junction C atoms in a cis orientation. The cyclo-hexane rings of both p-menthone fragments display chair conformations. The absolute configuration could not be determined from the X-ray diffraction data, but the relative configuration of the stereocentres could be deduced.

In the crystal, the two mol-ecules are arranged alternately and are linked by O-H?N hydrogen bonds, leading to the formation of a chain along the [20-1] direction. The chains are assembled into a two-dimensional framework parallel to the (102) plane through weak C-H?O hydrogen bonds between the two types of mol-ecules.

Project description:In the title compound, C(31)H(28)O(4), the asymmetric unit contains two crystallographically independent mol-ecules. All of the nonplanar six-membered heterocycles adopt chair conformations. Project description:The title compound, C(56)H(56)Ge(4)O(2)·2CH(2)Cl(2) or Tol(8)Ge(4)O(2)·2CH(2)Cl(2) (Tol = p-CH(3)C(6)H(4)), was obtained serendipitously during the attempted synthesis of a branched oligogermane from Tol(3)GeNMe(2) and PhGeH(3). The mol-ecule contains an inversion center in the middle of the Ge(4)O(2) ring which is in a chair conformation. The Ge-Ge bond distance is 2.4418 (5) Å and the Ge-O bond distances are 1.790 (2) and 1.785 (2) Å. The torsion angles within the Ge(4)O(2) ring are -56.7 (1) and 56.1 (1)° for the Ge-Ge-O-Ge angles and -43.9 (1)° for the O-Ge-Ge-O angle.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Cd2Na2(N3)2(C44H28N4)2(C12H24O6)2], consists of one half of the dimeric complex; the tetra-nuclear mol-ecule lies about an inversion centre. The Cd(II) atom is coordinated by the four pyrrole N atoms of the 5,10,15,20-tetra-phenyl-porphyrinate ligand and one N atom of the axial azide ligand in a square-pyramidal geometry. The azide group is also linked to the Na(I) atom, which is surrounded by one 18-crown-6 molecule and additionally bonded to a second 18-crown-6 molecule trans to the azide group. The porphyrin core exhibits a major doming distortion (?40%) and the crystal structure is stabilized by weak C-H?? inter-actions. The mol-ecular structure features weak intra-molecular hydrogen bonds: two O-H?O inter-actions within the 18-crown-6 mol-ecule and one C-H(18-crown-6)?N(azido) contact.

Project description:In the title compound, C33H29NO4, the acenaphthyl-ene ring system is essentially planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0290 Å). The pyrrolidine ring adopts a C-envelope conformation with a C atom displaced by 0.671 (2) Å from the mean-plane formed by the remaining ring atoms. The pyrrolidine ring is fused to acenaphthyl-ene ring system making a dihedral angle of 88.0 (7)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into R(2)2(9) dimers via C-H⋯N and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Two C atoms act as donors to the same O atom acceptor, resulting in the formation of R(2)1(7) ring motifs. These two motifs combine to form hydrogen-bonded sheets running along the a- and b-axis directions.
