Supramolecular hydrogelators of N-terminated dipeptides selectively inhibit cancer cells.

ABSTRACT: Consisting of N-terminated diphenylalanine, a new type of supramolecular hydrogelators forms hydrogels within a narrow pH window (pH 5.0 to 6.0) and selectively inhibits growth of HeLa cells, which provides important and useful insights for designing molecular nanofibers as potential nanomedicines.
