The two imidazole rings are each planar (r.m.s. deviations = 0.0016 and 0.0060?Å) and make a dihedral angle of 45.3?(18)°. Intra-molecular O-H?F hydrogen bonds occur. Inter-molecular C-H?F, O-H?O and C-H?O hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal structure.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(20)H(24)N(2)O(4)·H(2)O, contains one half-organic mol-ecule (an inversion centre generates the other half of the mol-ecule) and a half-mol-ecule of water (the O atom has site symmetry 2). The near planarity of the fused-benzene ring is illustrated by the very small deviations of all the atoms from the plane [largest deviation = 0.0092 (11) Å. The six-membered N,O-containing ring adopts a half-chair conformation. The observed N-CH(2) and CH(2)-O bond lengths can be correlated to the manifestation of an anomeric effect in the N-CH(2)-O unit. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are connected into zigzag chains parallel to [001] through O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds formed between the oxazinic N atom and the solvent water mol-ecule. The chains are consolidated by C-H⋯O inter-actions.

Project description:In the title solvated benzimidazole compound, C(20)H(15)N(3)O(2)·C(2)H(6)OS, both the benzimidazole fused-ring system and the complete dimethyl sulfoxide solvent mol-ecule are disordered over two sets of sites, in 0.750?(5):0.250?(5) and 0.882?(4):0.118?(4) ratios, respectively. The conformation of the pyrimidine ring is close to a half-chair for the major disorder component, whereas for the minor component it is close to a boat. The dihy-droxy-phenyl ring is almost perpendicular to the mean plane of the benzimidazole ring [dihedral angle = 87.3?(2)° for the major disorder component and 88.3?(5)° for the minor disorder component]. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into layers parallel to (110) by O-H?N and C-H?O hydrogen bonds. A bifurcated O-H?(O,S) bond links the benzimidazole and solvent mol-ecules.

Project description:In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(7)H(6)BFO(2), a broad-spectrum anti-fungal drug (AN2690), the planar [maximum deviation 0.035 (1) Å] mol-ecules form centrosymmetric R(2) (2)(8) dimers via strong O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The dimers are arranged into layers by weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O and C-H⋯F hydrogen bonds. The symmetry of this two-dimensional supra-molecular assembly can be described by the layer group p and topologically classified as a simple uninodal four-connected two-dimensional network of a (4.4.4.4.6.6) topology. Further weak C-H⋯O inter-actions build up the three-dimensional structure.
