ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(24)H(18)ClN(3)O(2)S, the dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the anthracene ring system is 41.10?(8)°. The thia-zine ring has a half-chair conformation and the Cl atom is in an axial orientation. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H?O inter-actions, generating C(8) chains along [100]. A C-H?N short contact occurs in the mol-ecule, generating an S(6) ring.
