ABSTRACT: The unit cell of the title compound, C(36)H(36)N(2), contains two independent mol-ecules which are located about inversion centers. In each molecule the quinoline rings are almost planar, with mean deviations of 0.0302?(1) and 0.0173?(1)?Å. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H?? inter-actions into a three-dimensional network.

The unit cell of the title compound, C(36)H(36)N(2), contains two independent mol-ecules which are located about inversion centers. In each molecule the quinoline rings are almost planar, with mean deviations of 0.0302 (1) and 0.0173 (1) Å. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯π inter-actions into a three-dimensional network. ...[more]
