The crystal packing is determined by inter-molecular O-H?O and N-H?O hydrogen bonds, which link the mol-ecules into a double-chain structure extending along [010].

Project description:The boronic acid group in the title compound, C11H11BN2O3, adopts a syn-anti conformation and is almost coplanar with the aromatic rings , making a dihedralangle of 3.8?(2)°. In the crystal, adjacent mol-ecules are linked via pairs of O-H?O inter-actions, forming centrosymmetric dimers with an R 2 (2)(8) motif, which have recently been shown to be energetically very favorable (Durka et al., 2012 ?, 2014 ?). The hy-droxy groups in an anti conformation are engaged in lateral hydrogen-bonding inter-actions with N atoms from neighbouring mol-ecules, leading to the formation of chains along [001]. O?B [3.136?(2)?Å] and C(?)?B [3.393?(2)?Å] stacking inter-actions in turn link parallel chains of centrosymmetric dimers into layers parallel to (010).

Project description:In the title compound, C15H19NO4, the cyclo-hexyl ring adopts a chair conformation with both exocyclic C-C bonds in equatorial orientations. The dihedral angle between the basal plane of cyclo-hexyl ring and the 2,4-di-hydroxy-benzaldehyde moiety is 84.13 (13)°. An intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds closes an S(6) ring. In the crystal, Oc-H⋯Op (c = carb-oxy-lic acid, p = phenol) hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into [100] C(13) chains whereas an Op-H⋯Oc hydrogen bond generates [101] C(15) chains. Together, these bonds generate (010) sheets incorporating R 2 (2)(20) loops. Weak C-H⋯O and C-H⋯π inter-actions also occur.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C14H18N2O4, contains two independent mol-ecules (A and B) which have essentially the same conformation. The piperazine rings adopts chair conformations with the N atoms out of plane. The dihedral angles formed by the four approximately planar C atoms of the piperazine ring and the benzene ring is 30.8 (5)° in mol-ecule A and 30.6 (5)° in mol-ecule B. In the crystal, mol-ecules A and B are connected by a pair of O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a dimer with graph-set notation R22(8). Weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds connect the dimers, forming zigzag chains along [001].

Project description:The title compound, C21H29NO7 (1) [systematic name: benzyl ({(3aR,5S,6R,6aR)-5-[(R)-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl]-2,2-di-methyl-tetrahydro-furo[2,3-d][1,3]dioxol-6-yl}meth-yl)carbamate], consists of a substituted 2,2-di-methyl-tetra-hydro-furo[2,3-d][1,3]dioxolane skeleton. The furan-ose ring adopts an envelope conformation close to C 3-exo, where the C atom substituted by the benzyl carbamate group is the flap. The fused dioxolane ring also adopts an envelope conformation, as does the terminal dioxolane ring, with in each case an O atom as the flap. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H?O and C-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming chains propagating along the b-axis direction.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title mol-ecular salt, C17H21N2O2S(+)·C14H15O7P2 (-), comprises two cations and two anions. Each cation features an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond, which closes an S(6) ring; in each case the hydro-pyridine ring adopts a half-chair conformation. In the anions, the dihedral angles between the aromatic rings are 64.1 (2) and 54.9 (2)°. In each case, the diphosphate groups are close to eclipsed [C-P⋯P-C pseudo-torsion angles = 11.6 (2) and -19.3 (2)°]. One of the meth-oxy groups in each anion is disordered over two orientations in a 0.539 (18):0.461 (18) ratio in one anion and 0.82 (2):0.18 (2) in the other. In the crystal, O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the components into [100] chains. Numerous C-H⋯O inter-actions cross-link the chains into a three-dimensional network.

(E)-{[(Butyl-sulfan-yl)methane-thio-yl]amino}(4-meth-oxy-benzyl-idene)amine: crystal structure and Hirshfeld surface analysis.

Project description:The title hydrazine carbodi-thio-ate, C13H18N2OS2, is constructed about a central and almost planar C2N2S2 chromophore (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0263 Å); the terminal meth-oxy-benzene group is close to coplanar with this plane [dihedral angle = 3.92 (11)°]. The n-butyl group has an extended all-trans conformation [torsion angles S-Cm-Cm-Cm = -173.2 (3)° and Cm-Cm-Cm-Cme = 180.0 (4)°; m = methyl-ene and me = meth-yl]. The most prominent feature of the mol-ecular packing is the formation of centrosymmetric eight-membered {⋯HNCS}2 synthons, as a result of thio-amide-N-H⋯S(thio-amide) hydrogen bonds; these are linked via meth-oxy-C-H⋯π(meth-oxy-benzene) inter-actions to form a linear supra-molecular chain propagating along the a-axis direction. An analysis of the calculated Hirshfeld surfaces and two-dimensional fingerprint plots point to the significance of H⋯H (58.4%), S⋯H/H⋯S (17.1%), C⋯H/H⋯C (8.2%) and O⋯H/H⋯O (4.9%) contacts in the packing. The energies of the most significant inter-actions, i.e. the N-H⋯S and C-H⋯π inter-actions have their most significant contributions from electrostatic and dispersive components, respectively. The energies of two other identified close contacts at close to van der Waals distances, i.e. a thione-sulfur and meth-oxy-benzene-hydrogen contact (occurring within the chains along the a axis) and between methyl-ene-H atoms (occurring between chains to consolidate the three-dimensional architecture), are largely dispersive in nature.

Project description:The title Schiff base compound, C22H19NO2S, crystallized with two independent mol-ecules (A and B) in the asymmetric unit. Both mol-ecules have an E conformation about the C=N bond. The two mol-ecules differ in the orientation of the aromatic rings with respect to each other. The outer 4-meth-oxy-benzene ring is inclined to the central benzene ring and the outer 4-acetyl-benzene ring by 1.80?(19) and 63.73?(19)°, respectively, in mol-ecule A, and by 6.72?(18) and 68.53?(19)°, respectively, in mol-ecule B. The two outer benzene rings are inclined to one another by 63.77?(18) and 63.19?(18)° in mol-ecules A and B, respectively. In the crystal, the individual mol-ecules stack in columns along [010], and are linked by a number of C-H?? inter-actions, forming slabs lying parallel to (001).

Project description:The title di-thio-carbazate ester, C16H16N2O2S2, comprises two almost planar residues, i.e. the phenyl ring and the remaining 14 non-H atoms (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0410 Å). These are orientated perpendicularly, forming a dihedral angle of 82.72 (5)°. An intra-molecular hy-droxy-O-H⋯N(imine) hydrogen bond, leading to an S(6) loop, is noted. An analysis of the geometric parameters is consistent with the mol-ecule existing as the thione tautomer, and the conformation about the C=N bond is E. The thione S and imine H atoms lie to the same side of the mol-ecule, facilitating the formation of inter-molecular N-H⋯S hydrogen bonds leading to eight-membered {⋯HNCS}2 synthons in the crystal. These aggregates are connected by phenyl-C-H⋯O(hy-droxy) inter-actions into a supra-molecular layer in the bc plane; these stack with no directional inter-actions between them. An analysis of the Hirshfeld surface confirms the nature of the inter-molecular inter-actions.
