Crystal structure of N-[(1S,2S)-2-amino-cyclo-hex-yl]-2,4,6-tri-methyl-benzene-sulfonamide.


ABSTRACT: The title compound, C15H24N2O2S, was synthesized via a substitution reaction between the enanti-opure (1S,2S)-(+)-1,2-di-amino-cyclo-hexane and 2,4,6-tri-methyl-benzene-1-sulfonyl chloride. The cyclo-hexyl and phenyl substituents are oriented gauche around the sulfonamide S-N bond. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via N-H?N hydrogen bonds, forming chains propagating along [100].
