ABSTRACT: Highlights•Truncus arteriosus is generally considered a failure of septation in the ventricular outflow tracts, the semilunar valves, and the aorta and pulmonary arteries.•This case involved the unusual finding of a partially septated truncal valve.•This case highlights the embryologic aberrations resulting in this disease.
