Drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome (DIHS; also known as drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms, or DRESS) is a rare, potentially life-threatening condition that typically presents 2-8 weeks after drug exposure with fever, rash, organ dysfunction, and lymphadenopathy.
