PillCam Colon Capsule 2 (PCC2) in the Setting of Colorectal Cancer Screening Program

Project description:In this study the investigators evaluate the sensitivity of PCC2 (PillCam Colon Capsule 2 (R)) in identifying significant polyps in a CRC (Colo Recatal Cancer) screening program (primary outcome measure). Each enrolled patient underwent three procedures: colon capsule endoscopy, CT-colonography and optical colonoscopy. In this study the reference standard is represented by the segmental unblinded colonoscopy (the unblinding is based on results of both capsule endoscopy and Ct colonography) The investigators also evaluated the tolerability of PCC2 as compared to optical colonoscopy (OC) and CT-colonography (CTC).

Site-specific silencing of regulatory elements as a mechanism of X-inactivation

Project description:The inactive X chromosome’s (Xi) physical territory is microscopically devoid of transcriptional hallmarks and enriched in silencing-associated modifications. How these microscopic signatures relate to specific Xi sequence is unknown. This study reports the profiling of Xi gene expression and chromatin states at high-resolution via allele-specific sequencing in F1 hybrid mouse trophoblast stem cells (TSCs). Datasets provided include those generated from strand-specific RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, FAIRE-Seq, and DNase-Seq protocols. Included for each dataset are FASTQ files, BED alignments and WIG files with coordinates relative to UCSC genome build mm9, and _snp files that report the location of all SNP-overlapping reads.

The following files are stored here: 1. four MS datasets generated in this work, including two two-species benchmark datasets acquired on QE HF and timsTOF Pro, and two TNF-alpha induced phosphoproteomics datasets acquired on QE HF-X and timsTOF Pro; 2. all spectral libraries used in this work; 3. raw MS data search reports with analysis logs included if software reported; 4. preprocessed MS data search reports for any result from HF and TIMS DIA benchmark datasets; 5. FASTAs used in this work; 6. a description file (Description_of_iProX_and_public_data.xlsx) for the stored files in this repository and other public data used in this work. Note: 3 and 4 are packed into one zip file for each data search experiment.

Participants will be asked to consent to any removed cancer samples being stored in tissue bank. Primary outcome(s): Clinical data collection target of 10,000 colorectal cancer (CRC) patients as assessed by CRC registry data. This outcome is assessed by the use of statistical analytics software SAS to analyse the data and prepare regular reports on the target numbers.
