Clinical impact of immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) response, DNA damage repair (DDR) gene mutations and immune-cell infiltration in subtypes of metastatic melanoma
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Our study identified that immune cell infiltration and DNA damage repair (DDR) gene mutations may have an impact in response to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) treatment in metastatic melanoma but differs among melanoma subtypes. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of the role of immune infiltration cells, DDR gene mutations and copy number alterations could act as prognostic biomarkers for the ICI treatment among metastatic melanoma subtype patients.
