Evaluation of gene expression changes in wild type (C57BL/6) vs Angelman syndrome (AS) model mice
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We aimed to identify differentially expressed genes in hippocampus of AS mice compared with that of WT mice. The analysis revealed around 120 genes were significantly affected at the mRNA levels in AS mouse brain. We found that immune-related genes were enriched in genes that were upregulated in AS. Particularly, the genes downstream of an anti-virus transcription factor, IRF family, were affected in AS brain, suggesting that IRF-dependent transcription is regulated by UBE3A
