Next Generation Sequencing Facilitates Quantitative Analysis of Wild Type LNCaP95 cells and Androgen receptor knocked-out clones Transcriptomes

ABSTRACT: Purpose: To compare the gene expression changes in parental LNCaP95 cells when androgen receptor is knocked out in androgen depleted and androgen-enriched conditions Methods: Cell line mRNA profiles of LNCaP95 cells and two androgen receptor knockout clones were generated by deep sequencing, using Illumina HiSeq. Results: Using an optimized data analysis workflow, we mapped about 100 million sequence reads per sample to the human (build UCSC hg19). Conclusions: Our study represents the overall gene expression profile changes when androgen receptor is knocked-out in androgen-sensitive prostate cancer parental LNCaP95 cells.
