Reciprocal regulation of EGR1 and EZH2 in breast cancer cells

ABSTRACT: We found that EGR1 stimulates the expression of EZH2, which in turn inhibited the expression of EGR1 through a silencer region and deletion of the silencer resulted in upregulation of EGR1, which reduced the malignancy of breast cancer cells.
