Transcriptome analysis of postharvest de-astringency treatments in persimmon fruit

ABSTRACT: High CO2 treatment achieved significant acceleration of deastringency of ‘Jingmianshi’ persimmon fruit and subsequent softening, which could be retarded by adding 1-MCP. Comparison of the differentially expressed genes in the different treatments narrowed down the potential candidate genes for persimmon post-deastringency or softening.
