Chromatin state in RA or LE540-treated human CD4+ T cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Retinoic Acid (RA)-treated T cells show effector-like properties such as down-regulation of CD62L, weak proliferation, low survival in vitro/in vivo. In contrast, LE540 (RAR antagonist)-treated T cells show memory-like properties. In this study, using ChIP-seq, we investigated change of chromatin state induced by RAR signaling in T cells. We found that RAR signaling comprehensively induces repressive chromatin states and deletes the memory T cell profile.
