ABSTRACT: We report the differences in gene expression between N2jrIs2[Prpl-17::Grx1-roGFP2] worms sorted based on their Grx1-roGFP2 into more oxidized or more reduced subpopulations (i.e. redox states between 2 and 3 standard deviations above (oxidized subpopulation) or below (reduced subpopulation) the mean population). We used fluorescence microscopy to confirm that the redox states of individuals sorted into oxidized and reduced subpopulations are indeed significantly different
