ABSTRACT: Photoperiodism represents the biological response to annual day-length changes, driving seasonal changes in physiology. We aimed to determine if there was an epigenetic component to photoperiodism. We identify photoperiod-dependent epigenetic regulation of transcription, which facilitates the circadian transcription factor drive on long day physiology.
