Single cell RNA-Seq of patient derived kidney organoids as a model of Fanconi renotubular syndrome

ABSTRACT: Three pooled iPSC-derived human kidney organoids from three different cell lines were derived from one kidney disease patient and cultured in parallel. The three cell lines represent (1) heterozygous HNF4A mutation present in the patient, (2) CRISPR-Cas9 gene corrected line, and (3) a null line that has two indels in HNF4A. The cells from the organoids were isolated and processed for single cell sequencing using 10x Genomics technology.
