FHOD formin and SRF promote striated muscle development through separate pathways in C. elegans


ABSTRACT: We show that striated muscle-expressed genes affected by reduction in UNC-120/SRF activity are not similarly affected by absence of the FHOD-1 formin. This suggests FHOD-1 does not affect striated muscle development via promotion of UNC-120/SRF-dependent transcription.
