Cultured resident and thioglycolate-elicited mouse peritoneal macrophages
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In macrophage biology, resident peritoneal macrophages (RPMs) and thioglycolate-elicited peritoneal macrophages (TGPMs) have been traditionally utilized as primary cultured models. RPMs and TGPMs display distinct morphological and functional characteristics. We analyzed altered gene expression between RPMs from control mice and TGPMs from thioglycolate-injected mice.
