Transcription is dysregulated in Polη-deficient cells

ABSTRACT: This RNA-seq analysis was performed to address transcriptional response of Polη-deficient cells (rad30Δ) before and after DSB-induction. We found that transcriptional response is dysregulated in the rad30Δ mutant regardless of DSBs, with decreased chromatin association of RNAPII on active genes. Based on these results, we further investigated formation of damage-induced cohesion in relation to active transcription.
