Single cell RNA-seq data on human innate lymphoid cells II.

ABSTRACT: Allergic rhinitis is a prevalent condition affecting up to 25% of the global population. The role of innate lymphoid cells in the pathogenesis of allergic diseases have been previously described, however, a single cell transcriptomic analysis to investigate differences between allergic and non-atopic healthy individuals have yet to be fully investigated. Using a combination of single cell RNA/protein and FACS validation, we provide evidence that there is a predominance and dysregulation of a type 2 response in the ILCs of allergic patients.
