Identification of Differentially Expressed Genes in Human Gingival and Periodontal Derived Stromal Cells Compared with Human Dermal Fibroblasts
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The normal epithelium derived stromal cells included ECM, normal fibroblast, mesenchymal stromal cells and osteoblast also plays a significant role in the progress of cancers but poorly investigated in the progress of OSCC. In this study, the stromal cells derived from gingival and periodontal tissues were extracted and human dermal fibroblasts were selected as control group. The differentially expressed genes in Gingival derived stromal cells and Periodontal derived stromal cells were identified by microarray. Furthermore, the biological process, cellular component, molecular function and cell pathways of differentially expressed genes in gingival derived stromal cells and periodontal derived stromal cells were analyzed by GO enrichment analysis and KEGG enrichment analysis respectively. All of these findings could provide potential genes in gingival derived stromal cells and periodontal derived stromal cells that influences the progress of OSCC.
