Long non-coding RNA landscape of patients biopsies from advanced Triple Negative Breast Cancer
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The response to specific treatments relies on precise biomarkers, thereby avoiding undesirable toxicities and diminishing the cost. Due to the lack of treatment options in triple-negative breast cancer, it is crucial to search biomarkers with reasonable specificity and sensibility to recognize clusters of patients who could benefit from the cutting-edge oncologist treatments available nowadays. Microarrays were used to detail the global gene expression program to stratified TNBC patients according to TNBCtype software developed by Vanderbilt University and then identified lncRNAs expressed differentially through the TNBC subtypes.
