Genome-wide association study of RegX3 in M. tuberculosis (Mtb) grown under phosphate limited conditions
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In order to understand the role of the transcriptional regulator RegX3 in regulating gene expression under phosphate limitation, we performed chromatin immunoprecipitation with RegX3 antibody followed by next generation sequencing using the immunoprecipitate. We observed RegX3 binding at a number of loci including genes which were observed to be differentially regulated during growth in phosphate limited vs. phosphate enriched media, suggesting a global role of RegX3 in regulating gene expression under phosphate starvation.
