Transcriptome analysis of Methylomonas sp. DH-1 wild-type and ΔwatR strain according to acetate treatment
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: WatR (weak acid tolerance regulator) was discovered to contribute to the tolerance against several organic acids. Generally, deletion of watR gene caused decreased tolerance. However, in the case of acetate, the tolerance has been increased according to the absence of watR. In order to determine the relationship between WatR and acetate, we tried to discover the acetate responsive genes in wild-type and ΔwatR strain.
