ABSTRACT: High baseline CTLs in TEdef+ tumors result from the aberrant activation of the Nucleic Acid Sensing-TBK1-CCL5/CXCL9 signaling cascade, which induces an immunosuppressive microenvironment with increased regulatory T cells and exhausted CTLs.
