ABSTRACT: To identify Circular RNA and mRNA expression profile in the parotid gland of mouse with type 2 diabetes, and predict the potential role of differently expressed circular RNA in the dysfunction of diabetic parotid gland Four 16-week-old male leptin receptor-deficient db/db mice weighting 40-55 g (a model of spontaneous type 2 DM) and age-matched db/m mice weighting 25-30 g were purchased from Changzhou Cavens Laboratory Animal Ltd. After anesthesia with an intraperitoneal injection of 1% pentobarbital sodium solution at 0.5 g/kg, the fresh PG samples were extracted and frozen with liquid nitrogen for 1-2 min, then stored at ‑80°C.
