ABSTRACT: Marek's disease virus (MDV) causes immunosuppression and tumor diseases in chickens. MDV encodes more than 100 genes, most of which are homologous to HSV-1 genes, and are mainly involved in viral genome DNA replication, virus particle assembly and morphogenesis. Although the functions of some genes have been analyzed, many genes are unknown because of the huge genome of MDV. In order to explore the pathogenesis of LORF9 and UL23 in vivo, LORF9 and UL23 gene deletion strains were constructed. Gene expression profiles of recombinant virus and Md5BAC wild strains were analyzed by RNA-seq data. To clarify the gene expression level of recombinant virus in the early stage of cytolytic infection.
