Diagnostic value of circulating miR-146b-5p and miR-222-5p in patients with acute myocardial infarction
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In this study we aim to evaluate the diagnostic value of miRNAs for in the detection of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). We used microRNA microarray to screen differentially expressed microRNAs (miRNAs) in rat myocardial infarcted tissues compared with healthy control tissues. Then the expression of these miRNAs was further verified by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) in rat myocardial infarcted tissues and plasma. Finally, the diagnostic value of these circulating miRNAs was explored in 44 patients with AMI, 53 with coronary heart disease (CHD) and 56 healthy controls.
