Effect of piR-1254 on the differential expression in Neuroblastomacell lines
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Small non-coding RNAs (sncRNAs), including microRNAs and piRNAs, play crucial roles in regulating gene expression in cancer, influencing key processes such as cell proliferation, apoptosis, and metastasis. This also includes piR-1254, a 32 nucleotides long non-coding RNA. Here it is shown that piR-1254 has a broad influence on the expression of more than 2000 different genes. The expression of half of the genes is reduced and that of the other half is increased.
