Clonally expanded targetable natural killer-like T cells seed the aged spinal cord to disrupt wound healing
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: CD8+ T cells that were found accumulated in the spinal cord preceding (aged) and following a spinal cord injury disrupt wound healing. We isolated spinal cord cells of the aged mice who were treated with IgG or anti-CD8 monoclonal antibody following spinal cord injury and transcriptionally profiled them by doing single cell RNAseq to identify what cells were affected after depleting CD8+ T cells.
