Transcriptome data for comparing gene expressions of goldfish with normal and celestial-eye

ABSTRACT: The goldfish strains with celestial-eye (CE) are popular among ornamental fish customers. The CE phenotype consists of enlarged and protuberant eyes, and the eye balls were turned upward during the development, which were suitable for top viewing in pots. Genome and transcriptome data were obtained to comparative analysis for indentifying the causal mutations of CE in goldfish.
