DNA methylation profiling of germ cells from mice exposed to chronic social defeat stress
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Mice exposed to chronic social defeat stress (CSDS), an animal model of depression, exhibit dysfunction of the male reproductive system. However, the mechanism by which exposure to CSDS contributes to male reproductive abnormalities remains poorly understood. We investigated the effects of CSDS on DNA methylation profiles of male germ cells using the reduced representation of bisulfite sequencing (RRBS).
