Expression data from two neutrophil subsets during murine paramyxovirus type 1 infection
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Two subsets of neutrophils, separated by CD49d expression, are present in the airways of mice during an acute respiratory infection from murine paramyxovirus type 1 (SeV). We used microarrays to compare the transcriptomes of these two subsets to look for up-regulated or down-regulated genes that would account for the seemingly different funtions of the neutrophil subsets.
