ABSTRACT: To understand the mechanism of isopropanol tolerance of Escherichia coli for improvement of isopropanol production, we performed genome re-sequencing and transcriptome analysis of isopropanol tolerant E. coli strains obtained from parallel adaptive laboratory evolution under IPA stress.
