ABSTRACT: LC-MS/MS analysis of ethyl acetate/methanol extractions of full P. aeruginosa PA14 transposon library from Ausubel lab at Harvard Medical School (http://ausubellab.mgh.harvard.edu/cgi-bin/pa14/home.cgi) Under 'Results Files' are two excel sheets. One excel sheet is the library information provided by the Ausubel lab. The second excel sheet is a truncated version including mzXML file name, area under the curve for the internal standard and RAW growth values.

Project description:In the mononuclear title complex, [Ag(C5H12N2S)(C18H15P)3](CH3COO)·CH3OH, the Ag(I) ion is in a distorted tetra-hedral coordination geometry formed by three P atoms from three tri-phenyl-phosphane ligands and one S atom from an N,N'-di-ethyl-thio-urea ligand. In the crystal, the acetate anion is connected to the complex mol-ecule via a pair of N-H?O hydrogen bonds [graph-set motif R (2) 2(8)] and the solvent methanol mol-ecule is connected to the anion via an O-H?O hydrogen bond. This aggregate is further connected through a weak C-H?O hydrogen bond, forming a chain along [100]. In addition, sixfold phenyl embraces with inter-molecular distances of 6.6463?(13)-6.667?(2)?Å are arranged in a chain along [001]. The combination of hydrogen bonding and phen-yl?phenyl inter-actions leads to the formation of a two-dimensional network parallel to (010).

The P. aeruginosa PA14 transcriptome recorded under 14 different experimental conditions

Project description:We analyzed the transcriptional profile of P.aeruginosa PA14 grown under 14 different environmental conditions. These included conditions of growth within biofilms, at various temperatures, osmolarities and phosphate concentrations, under anaerobic conditions, attached to a surface and conditions encountered within the eukaryotic host. We found that >30% of the PA14 genome was differentially regulated at least under one of the 14 environmental conditions (referred to as the adaptive transcriptome). Most of the genes were also differentially regulated upon sigma factor hyper expression and/or inactivation (GEO accession number GSE54999) and many of those belonged to primary alternative sigma factor regulons. The samples of P. aeruginosa PA14 wild type strain were cultivated under 14 different experimental conditions and were analyzed by RNA-seq. For each condition, at least two biological replicates were generated Please note that PA14 is our standard lab strain used for all generated data in this records. There is no mutation introduced for any of those experiments, and thus, the descriptions only highlight the growth conditions.

Identification of Neuronal RNA Targets of TDP-43-Containing Ribonucleoprotein Complexes

Project description:We identify the RNA targets of TAR DNA-binding protein 43 (TDP-43) from cortical neurons by RNA immunoprecipitation followed by deep sequencing (RIP-seq). We identify 4352 highly enriched RNA targets of TDP-43. We determined that the canonical TDP-43 binding site (TG)n was 55.1-fold enriched in our TDP-43 library. Moreover, our analysis shows there is often an adenine in the middle of the motif, (TG)nTA(TG)m. TDP-43 RNA targets are particularly enriched for Gene Ontology terms related to RNA metabolism, neuronal development, and synaptic function. Stemofoline ethyl acetate solvate.

Project description:Crystals of the title compound, C(22)H(29)NO(5)·C(4)H(8)O(2), {[systematic name: (2R,3R,5R,5aS,6R,8aR,9S)-(5Z)-5-[3-butyl-tetra-hydro-6-methyl-2,5-methano-4,3,8a-[1]propan-yl[3]yl-idene-furo[3,2-f][1,4]oxazepin-7(5H)-yl-idene]-4-meth-oxy-3-methyl-furan-2(5H)-one ethyl acetate solvate} were isolated from the root extracts of Stemona aphylla (Stemonaceae). The structure closely resembles those of stemofoline derivatives which have previously been reported. Inter-molecular contacts are observed between some C-bonded H atoms and nearby O atoms, perhaps indicating weak inter-actions which could influence the packing of species within the unit cell.

Desvenlafaxinium chloranilate ethyl acetate solvate.

Project description:In the cation of the title compound, C16H26NO2 (+)·C6HCl2O4 (-)·C4H8O2, the 1-hy-droxy-cyclo-hexyl ring adopts a slightly distorted chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the mean planes of the 1-hy-droxy-cyclo-hexyl and 4-hy-droxy-phenyl rings is 84.0?(8)°. In the anion, the hydroxyl H atom is twisted slightly out of the ring plane with a C-C-O-H torsion angle of -171.9°. Disorder was modeled for the methyl group of the acetate group in the solvate with an occupancy ratio of 0.583?(15): 0.417?(15). In the crystal, O-H?O hydrogen bonds are observed between cations and between cations and anions, while bifuricated N-H?(O,O) cation-anion hydrogen bonds are also present, forming chains along [010] and [100]. In addition weak cation-anion and cation-solvate C-H?O inter-actions occur.

Pallidol hexa-acetate ethyl acetate monosolvate.

Project description:The entire mol-ecule of pallidol hexa-acetate {systematic name: (±)-(4bR,5R,9bR,10R)-5,10-bis-[4-(acet-yloxy)phen-yl]-4b,5,9b,10-tetra-hydro-indeno-[2,1-a]indene-1,3,6,8-tetrayl tetra-acetate} is completed by the application of twofold rotational symmetry in the title ethyl acetate solvate, C40H34O12·C4H8O2. The ethyl acetate mol-ecule was highly disordered and was treated with the SQUEEZE routine [Spek (2009 ?). Acta Cryst. D65, 148-155]; the crystallographic data take into account the presence of the solvent. In pallidol hexa-acetate, the dihedral angle between the fused five-membered rings (r.m.s. deviation = 0.100?Å) is 54.73?(6)°, indicating a significant fold in the mol-ecule. Significant twists between residues are also evident as seen in the dihedral angle of 80.70?(5)° between the five-membered ring and the pendent benzene ring to which it is attached. Similarly, the acetate residues are twisted with respect to the benzene ring to which they are attached [C-O(carb-oxy)-C-C torsion angles = -70.24?(14), -114.43?(10) and -72.54?(13)°]. In the crystal, a three-dimensional architecture is sustained by C-H?O inter-actions which encompass channels in which the disordered ethyl acetate mol-ecules reside.
