SnRK2s directly interact with and phosphorylate Raptor1B


ABSTRACT: ABA binds to PYR1/PYLs/RCARs, releases the protein kinase SnRK2s from PP2C-mediated inhibition. Activated SnRK2s then phosphorylate Raptor1B, a regulator component in TOR complex1, to inhibit TOR signaling and growth. Our new data clearly indicated that SnRK2s direct phosphorylate Raptor1B on multiple sites to mediate TOR inhibition/growth inhibition upon stress conditions.
