ABSTRACT: CPYPP induced cytoplasmic vacuolization and triggered paraptosis in cancer cells. The paraptotic program involved reactive oxygen species provocation and the overactivation of proteostatic dynamics, leading to transcriptional activation associated with redox homeostasis and proteostasis.
