Human bone paleoproteomics utilizing the SP3 method to maximize detected proteins and reduce humics
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Bone proteins were extracted from 9 historical human bone powders using either 500 mM tetrasodium EDTA or 400 mM ammonium phosphate dibasic, 200 mM ammonium bicarbonate, 4 M guanidine HCl. The extracted proteins were digested with SP3 to determine its usefulness in bone proteomics and paleoproteomics.
