ABSTRACT: Nanoscale liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry analysis for protein identification, characterization and label-free quantification was performed by Phoenix National Proteomics Core. The samples for mass spectrometry analyses were from the in vitro phosphatase assays mentioned above, separated by SDS-PAGE, stained by coomassie blue to locate the YAP, and cut spanning YAP. Pryptic peptides were separated on a C18 column and analyzed by LTQ-Orbitrap Velos (Thermo). Proteins were identified using the search engine of the National Center for Biotechnology Information against the human or mouse RefSeq protein databases.
