Effect of in utero and lactational exposure to a thyroid hormone system disrupting chemical on mouse metabolome
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In the current study we use untargeted transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses to address the consequence of in utero and lactational exposure to a low dose of the model thyroid hormone system disrupting chemical propyl-thio-uracyl (PTU) in mice.We detected minor changes in gene expression in the brain, and of the metabolite content of the serum. Fatty acid and lipid metabolites were the most noteworthy markers in serum.
