Quantitative proteomics analysis of five mouse models with chronic kidney disease

ABSTRACT: To investigate the proteome changes in the renal cortex of five CKD mouse models, we performed TMT-based quantitative proteomics on these five models and their respective controls. The five models are: 5/6 nephrectomy (Set1, 8 controls and 8 CKD mice), adenine diet 2 weeks (Set2, 6 controls and 6 CKD mice), adenine diet 4 weeks (Set3, 6 controls and 6 CKD mice), unilateral ischemia-reperfusion (IRI, Set4, 9 controls and 8 CKD mice), and nephrotoxic nephritis (NTN, Set5, 7 controls and 8 CKD mice).
