Project description:The goal of this project is to study hepatic stellate cell sub-populations in liver fibrosis and more specifically find a sub-population which responds to stiffness. Single cells were isolated from healthy versus CCl4-treated mice utilizing accudenz gradient method and were sequenced using 10X genomics technology.
Project description:This data set comprises population (47 samples) measurements of transcription factor DNA binding (PU.1 and RPB2) and histone modification (H3K27ac, H3K4me1 and H3k4me3) levels for a subset of the 1000 Genomes Project CEPH samples. This data was generated as part of the following study: - Population Variation and Genetic Control of Modular Chromatin Architecture in Humans. An additional set of 111 samples from the 1000 Genomes Project (GBR and TSI populations) were also assayed for three histone modifications (H3K27ac, H3K4me1 and H3k4me3). Project description:This work describes the molecular mechanisms of meiotic maturation and cell cycle in the starfish Astropecten Aranciacus. The study has been conducted assembling a de-novo transcriptome from the different cellular stages: oocytes, egg, zygote and early embryos. Differential expression analysis followed by rtPCR are used to assess the validity of the assembly.
Project description:H2030-BrM cell line (lung adenocarcinoma, in vivo selected to increase its brain tropism) was injected intracardilly in three mice and when metastases were established as assesed by bioluminescence brains were microdissected to obtain GFP+ metastases. Metastases from the three mice were pooled and cell sorted for GFP. A pure GFP+ population was loaded onto a 10x Chromium Single Cell controller chip B (10x Genomics)
Project description:The Crown-of-Thorns starfish (COTS), Acanthaster planci, is a highly fecund predator of reef-building corals distributed throughout the Indo-Pacific. COTS population outbreaks cause substantial loss of coral cover, diminishing the integrity and resilience of the reef ecosystems thus increasing their susceptibility to climate change. We sequenced genomes of A. planci from the Great Barrier Reef, Australia (GBR) and Okinawa, Japan (OKI) to guide identification of species-specific peptide communication with potential applications in mitigation strategies. The genome-encoded proteins excreted and secreted into the surrounding seawater by COTS forming aggregations and by those escaping the predatory giant triton snail, Charonia tritonis, were identified LC-MS/MS.
Project description:Kidneys from multiple litters of Six2GFP+ E14.5 mouse embryos were pooled into three replicate tubes and dissociated in parallel. Six2GFP+ cells were isolated and processed for single cell sequencing using 10x Genomics technology. This resulted in a dataset of 7844 single cells representing the nephron progenitor population of the mouse kidney.
