Project description:This is genome-scale metabolic model of Lipomyces starkeyi as the representative yeast species for the clade Lipomycetaceae. This model was generated through homology search using a fungal pan-GEM largely based on Yeast8 for Saccharomyces cerevisiae, in addition to manual curation. This model has been produced by the Yeast-Species-GEMs project from Sysbio (www.sysbio.se). This is model version 1.0.0 accompanying the publication (DOI: 10.15252/msb.202110427), currently hosted on BioModels Database and identified by MODEL2109130006. Project description:Immunoglobulin A (IgA) is the most abundant antibody in the intestinal tract. Recent studies show that discrete subsets of gut human plasma cells (PCs) release IgA, which contributes to the maintenance of gut homeostasis. To better characterize the properties of these PC subsets, we performed global transcriptome analysis in naïve B cells as well as immature CD19+IgA+CD138- PCs, mature CD19+IgA+CD138+ PCs and late CD19-IgA+CD138+ PCs after their purification from human colon samples.
