Project description:We report transcripts from tomato:tomato and pepper:pepper self-grafts, and tomato:pepper and pepper:tomato hetergrafts over 4 time points: 24 hours after grafting, 3 days after grafting, 5 day after grafting, and 2 weeks after grafting Examination of 4 graft combinations over 4 time points
Project description:To investigate graft conferred resistance against viral diseases a novel hetero-grafting system was developed using Nicotiana benthamiana scions grafted onto different tomato rootstocks. RNAseq analysis was used to identify mobile tomato mRNAs within N. benthamiana scions
Project description:To investigate the function of SlNOR-like1 in the regulation of cuticle formation in tomato fruits, we established nor-like1 mutants by CRISPR/Cas9. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of tomato exocarp of wild type (WT) and nor-like1 mutant at mature green (MG) stage.
Project description:Employing high-throughput sequencing and advanced microscopy techniques, we explored twenty-six histone modifications and Pol II distribution landscape in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum). Our findings revealed a comprehensive epigenetic landscape, uncovering distinct chromatin states associated with heterochromatin formation and gene silencing, allowing for the classification of genomic regions.
