Project description:Identification of two novel 30-membered glycosylated macrolides, epemicins A and B from the rare Kutzneria sp. CA-103260 with formulas C70H122N2O27 and C76H132N2O32. We also provide data on the successful heterologous expression of epemicin A in S. albus J1074 and on the abolishment of the production of the compounds via the generation of a knockout strain.

Project description:Here, we report the sequencing, assembly, and annotation of the genome of the rare actinobacterium Kutzneria sp. strain CA-103260. The genome of CA-103260 was sequenced using PacBio and Illumina technologies and it consists of a circular 11,609,901-bp chromosome.
Project description:Leishmania donovani WHO reference strain MHOM/IN/80/DD8 and Leptomonas seymouri isolates Ld 2001 and Ld39 were used for proteome analysis which were originally isolated from clinical cases of kala azar patients with different inherent antimonial sensitivities. Ld 2001 was Sb-S and Ld 39 was Sb-R. The genome sequencing of these isolates had confirmed co-infection with Leptomonas.
