Fusobacterium nucleatum (Fn), a bacterium present in the human oral cavity and rarely found in the lower gastrointestinal tract of healthy individuals<sup>1</sup>, is enriched in human colorectal cancer (CRC) tumours<sup>2-5</sup>.
